Connecting all of your calendars to Google Calendar

Connecting all of your calendars to Google Calendar

There's always something happening at Notre Dame.  Whether it's school events, activities, assemblies, or *gasp* school itself!  It can be overwhelming keeping track of everything; if you don't have a process that works, it could be easy to forget something.

One thing I like to do is use my Google Calendar.  I put all types of important things in it: assignments, memos, meetings, reminders, the works.  What I really love about Google Calendar is that you can have all of your other calendars funnel into Google— that way, you only need to look at one calendar and get all of the information!

This video shows you how you can get your Canvas calendar (which features your homework assignments and important test/project dates) into your Google Calendar.

AND

This video shows you how you can connect your Veracross calendars (which features school events and, soon enough, athletic events) into your Google Calendar.

Once you get these calendars into one, you can go one step further.  If you have a smartphone, you can upload your Google Calendar onto your smartphone.  Just be wary of boundaries— you don't want your entire life to be school!

I hope this helps you keep organized in the new year.  For any tech questions, we are here to help!
