How to update Zoom

Video conferencing is becoming more and more commonplace; it's important to always be running the most up-to-date version of Zoom, as this will ensure any bugs are fixed.  Plus, who else gets nervous when they see that pop-up announcing a new feature is ready!

Below are the steps you can take to update Zoom on your MacBook:

1. Click on the magnifying glass in the top right corner of your screen. 

This spotlight search can also be brought up by hitting Command and Spacebar simultaneously

2. In Spotlight search, search for “Self-Service”. 

This is where all of your available apps can be downloaded.

3. Locate the Zoom app and click “Reinstall/Update” or “Install” (if it’s your first time). 

This will update the version of Zoom your computer is on.  

4. Restart your computer by clicking the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen and clicking “Restart”

(do this process at least once a week)
