While quite thorough, Canvas can be tricky to navigate at times. If you are looking for progress on your daughter on a particular class, it may not be the most straightforward. This article will walk you through some of the ways to check your daughter's grades and progress.
1) Log into Canvas using your ND Parent Portal credentials.
2) You will be taken to your daughter's Dashboard, which will list out all of her classes. You are welcome to click into any of those classes for more details around each class. You'll also notice the right side contains a summary of assignments, and recently graded assignments.
At the bottom right, click on "View Grades".
3) Once there, you're able to view all of your child/children's grades. Each of these links are also clickable, so if you wish to understand a grade better, click on it.
4) Once in a specific class, you can see that there are a few icons that help explain grades. This includes if an assignment is missing, was turned in late, or any feedback given from the teacher on the assignment.
